MINNESOTA FIRE CHIEF

May/June 2017 - VOL. 53, No. 5

COVER

A controlled burn for the Alexandria Fire Department during regular training. With a DNR permit, an old barn was lit and within 7 minutes the roof had collapsed. The barn was removed to make room for future development. The Alexandria firefighters spent time mentoring the Alexandria Fire Explorers Post #400 in the training by manning the hose lines to protect nearby exposures.
