The Kenyon Volunteer Fire Department conducted a training for a house burn on June 2, 2018. The 

trainingincluded all aspects of firefighting including: pump operations, water supply, SCBA, fire hose and streams, firesuppression, ventilation, and communications. The fire department had 21 firefighters participating. SASCS was hired to provide five instructors for the live burn. The fire department was able to fund the training through the MBFTE training grants.
