Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association (MSFCA) is a professional, member-driven organization, committed to representing the interests of fire departments, chiefs, command staff, officers and firefighters throughout the great State of Minnesota.

Just as the fire service is founded on the core philosophy of service to others, our Association is focused on providing for the members who are committed to the long-term health and sustainability of the Minnesota fire service. MSFCA focuses on developing current and future leaders by providing the best training, education and professional development opportunities available so they can continue to serve their communities with the utmost honor and pride.

2019 Poster Contest

The MSFCA poster contest is a great way for fire departments to get involved with local school districts. Students from kindergarten to 5th grade are encouraged to create a poster for a chance to be featured as the cover for an issue of the Fire Chief. Winners will also receive cash prizes. Each poster must follow the theme that is chosen for that year. Chiefs are encouraged to hold contests in each of the grade categories and may submit up to three posters in each grade category to the MSFCA editor. Chiefs may also opt to hold their own local contests.
