MSFCA Board Meeting of October 14, 2009
Minnesota Valley, Region 12 – Gary Conrath, met in LeCenter on 9/8/09; 36 members representing 13 fire departments. Guests: John King, MSFDA; Tim Zehnder, South Central College. Developing criteria for a scholarship fund. Next meeting in LeSueur on 12/8/09.
Region 12–Gary Conrath–Regional Report of June 12, 2009
Met Tuesday, June 9th. DNR did presentations with $500 scholarships to be given to students going into the fire service. Next meeting will take place in Lonsdale, no date given.
MSFCA Board Meeting of March 20-21, 2009
Minnesota Valley-Gary Conrath
At a recent school in Mankato, attendance was noted to be 954 firefighters. A discussion regarding DNR leaving the southern part of the state was a serious topic. At a recent meeting, 53 members representing 15 departments were in attendance. The next meeting of this region will be June 9, 2009 in Kilkenny.

- Trying to organize a group to go the Fire Service Day at the capitol
